New York Unit of the Herb Society of America

The New York Unit of the Herb Society of America was founded in 1938 with the object of stimulating interest in the knowledge and use of herbs, and to develop and maintain educational and cultural projects relating to herbs.

 

We have a rich and inspiring history: our wonderful location has facilitated connections with many outstanding horticultural institutions, and brought a wealth of accomplished members to our ranks. We help support public gardens and programs in and around New York City that share the mission of growing herbs "for use and for delight."
