In this immersive, hands-on workshop, we’ll follow cacao’s metamorphosis from seed to cup - using each stage of its evolution as a mirror for our physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Together we’ll meet cacao as both plant and teacher, exploring the pod, seeds, roots, and flower to uncover the unique medicinal wisdom held in each part of the Theobroma cacao tree. As we trace its journey through fermentation, drying, roasting, and grinding, we’ll reflect on how this process reveals cacao’s full essence and healing potential. You’ll also experience an ancestral Guatemalan preparation method using la piedra de moler (a traditional grinding stone), then create your own cacao elixir with herbs and spices that speak to your personal path. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into the various forms of Cacao-  raw seed, “cocoa” powder, processed paste , and how each carries its own energetic purpose.
